IMAGINE
AS A CHILD you were told at some point "It’s
all in your imagination”. Everything
is in your imagination at an early age. And if you can imagine it, you created
it. Friends, Outer Space, The bully that went away. Activate your POSITIVE IMAGINATION and you'll create
to your dreams imagination.
LATER
IN LIFE OR AS ADULTS we use our imaginations and picture our fear.
Everything could and will go wrong. You end up with doubts before you've
even started. We use our NEGETIVE
IMAGINATION.
Simple
steps to kick-start POSITIVE IMAGINATION and put it towards guitar playing as
opposed to guitar learning/suffering. Enjoy the journey not every horrific
little event/failure.
1. Think
about what you want to happen or play. Decide exactly on the out come you
want.
2.
Picture it in your mind. What happens? What do you do? See
all of the details – what you’re about to play.
3.
Think what you want to play. Think experience’s you have in the song your
playing. Was it raining ? or did it sound like $%^*%$*. Calm and control
NEGITIVE IMAGINATION.
"Imagination
is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire; you will what
you imagine; and at last you create what you will."
A
popular yet I hate this saying
"What you see is what you get"? It's a deeper comment
than you might sense. What you "see" for yourself is what ultimately
what you get.
