"John Lee Hooker Style"

LEVEL 1 INTERMEDIATE !

John Lee Hooker is on of the first country blues artists to be recorded.
Raw and simple acoustic guitar in "A" open tuning.
Open Tuning ! An open tuning gives us a chord when the strings are pluck open
or no fingering is applyed. The fingering hand is free to move up the neck to
play fills.

Open A Tuning

( E A E G# C# E ) 6th or lowest string to 1st string.

5. The strings from lowest - 6 to highest - 1 or 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1

6. The notes you tune lowest to highest are E - A - E - G# - C# - E
