How To Read PowerTabs

Tab or tabulature represent the 6 strings on your guitar. The top line is your highest
pitched or high E string. The bottom line represents the low E string,

1st line = High E
2nd line = B
3rd line = G
4th line = D
5th line = A
6th line = Low E

The number on the string line represents which fret on the fingerboard you play.

The bold numbers in the red box show you the fingers on the neck.
.

You will not see this on Powertabs this is only an example.

0 is an open string.

1 fret the note with your index finger.

2 fret the note with your middle finger.

3 fret the note with your ring finger.

4 fret the note with your pinky finger.
